Got product to move but looking to save on shipment costs? Reduce your expenses on smaller cargo moves by opting for our less-than-truckload (LTL) or our partial truckload shipping solutions from Guterra Broker System.
We have a wide array of LTL partners and carriers servicing partial loads throughout virtually anywhere within Southern California, allowing our customers to compromise time sensitivity for dramatic cost savings.
Generally speaking, 0-8 pallets is a good size for going through LTL. This freight gets picked up, taken to a consolidation center with a bunch of other freight from the local region, then pooled together and sent long distance on a truck. Once at the final destination, it then gets deconsolidated and sent to each shipment's unique final destination...If you've ever used Uber's uber pool feature, think of LTL like the uber pool option where they make you walk to set destination points.
Conversely, if you've got somewhere between 8 up to around 16 pallets, you may want to consider partial truckloads (though the decision is ultimately up to you). With partial, you're basically allowing another customer's freight to get picked up inbetween...similar to a regular uber pool.
So...still not sure which type of shipping will work best for your needs? Do not fret - WE GOT YOU COVERED! We will analyze your needs as a company to choose the best option that aligns your unique supply chain requirements.
